Kristina Jaruskova

Kristina Jaruskova joined the SDSC as a Data Scientist in the Innovation team, based in Lausanne.

Kristina holds an MSc in Applied Mathematics from the Czech Technical University, where she focused on statistical and machine learning applications in particle physics. She later worked as a researcher at CERN, specializing in deep generative models for physics simulations, and gained industry experience through an internship with the Data Science team at Procter & Gamble, contributing to retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications for media marketing. Kristina is looking forward to applying AI/ML techniques to real-world problems at the intersection of research and industry. Outside of work, Kristina enjoys spending time outdoors, including hiking, skiing, and sailing.
