Rafael graduated from ETH Zürich in 2021 with a Master's Degree in Computer Science and has since been working as research assistant at the Department for Structural Engineering at ETH and the University Hospital Balgrist. His major research interests so far have revolved around endowing Deep Learning models with inductive biases and prior knowledge in order to improve their performance in small- or low-data domains. A keyword in this area are Physics-Informed Neural Networks, which can be used for finding solutions to Partial Differential Equations.
