Joining the ORDES Team, Sabine aims to have an impact on the reproducibility crisis in science by applying the FAIR principles to the data science projects at the SDSC. Sabine's background is in opendata where she worked as a software engineer for the Swiss opendata data portal. She also consulted the Swiss Federal Office on the Swiss metadata standard DAT-AP CH. She enjoys collaborating on Semantic web standards and interoperability, coding prototypes and wrapping her head around complicated problems of all sorts.Sabine holds a mathematics diploma from the University of Hamburg, where she majored on a topic in Algebraic Group Theory.
