Assaf Sternberg

Assaf earned a Ph.D. in Physics, with aspecialization in Astrophysics, from the Technion – Israel Institute ofTechnology in 2009. After his studies he spent several years as a postdoctoralfellow at the Weizmann Institute of Science and the Max Planck Institute forAstrophysics, and as a research fellow at the Technical University of MunichExcellence Cluster Universe. In 2017 he joined the Center for Personalized Oncology at the CHUV as a data scientist. In June 2023, Assaf joined the SDSC as a genomic data analyst, with the goal to develop and implement improvementsfor the integration of clinical and multi-omics data.
